We went out for steaks last night so I had leftovers.

Horseradish-crusted filet
Loaded baked potato
Burgundy mushrooms

I have some calamari and shrimp as well but saving that for tomorrow.

Poseiden's in Lafayette. I'm not sure what I am getting, though.

Did some pork belly and a small brisket.

Pork belly worked.

Brisket is going to have to be chopped up and doused in BBQ sauce.

Brought my wife out. Fried gator app, side salad, fish & shrimp platter and a grilled salmon salad. :)

it’s the best pizza in Ponchatoula/Hammond. There’s better pizza in Covington. So depending where you are if Covington is closer then no I wouldn’t drive 30 minutes to eat there. If Ponchatoula is closer then yes it’s worth it.

don’t go early evening it’s chock full of families and you’ll have to wait. Go 730-8ish and it starts to clear out.

yes you should give it a try then. Really cool place inside and the owners and staff couldn’t be friendlier. They are a homegrown success story
