He simply has struggled once he's gotten to the majors once the book was out on him. He's definitely having issues with major league pitching - he really doesn't have the power to be a home run type hitter so he needs to make contact otherwise he'll be out of the lineup very quick. More so than somebody with a power threat.

People for some reason can’t discuss anything that isn’t sunshine and rainbows or EVER say anything remotely negative about a player people think or want to classify as tGOAT of LSU. Hitting .280 in the MLB isn’t shabby. That’s a damn good career if you do it for 8 or so years. Walker, Theriot, Bregman and especially David John LeMahieu have a lot to say about tGOAT when combining careers.
