Istrouma HS - Huge fight - Students AND parents involved

It was around 10:30 a.m. when Baton Rouge Police says some girls at the school got into a fight.
“It spiraled out of control and some parents came to the school. By the time we deescalated the students fighting, the parents got into a fight,” BRPD’s L’Jean McKneely told UWK.
In total, two students were booked into the juvenile detention center while four others were issued summons, or custodial agreements, and released to their parents.

And you got to let those girls just fight it out. I remember when I was in HS, the coaches would break up all the fights and they would talk about how the girls were harder to break up because they would latch onto each other.

I remember watching two big black girls get into a fight in high school. I was standing there next to a friend, who was black. I asked him why he didn't hop in there and put a stop to all that. He said, "I'll fight you first."

My father graduated from Istrouma. In 1963. His yearbook is filled with pics of smiling, clean cut kids and teachers that all seemed to have at least 2 other jobs at the school. Like an Algebra teacher who also coached baseball and headed up the chess club. He won't even talk about his high school alma mater now. Says his high school doesn't exist anymore.
