MTV's The Challenge 41

FRESH MEAT AND VETS
16 Fresh Meat and 16 Vets
Format - Looks like the Vets will team up with one member of the Fresh Meat Cast. Like on season 12.
Location - Santiago, Chile
Filming started Feb 12th
June or July release date I reckon
TJ Lavin is back to host the longest running and goat reality tv show in the world. It's the only good thing still on since the 90's even though it lost its spark a while back. It's like LSU sports no matter how bad it ever gets I'll always be there for it.
Season 40 had a chance to be epic like the old days but fell flat in some regards. The casting was a B+ but the editing and voting element ruined it. The elimination's were also not up to par. They also need to fix the finals. This 3 day checkpoint crap has got to go like last season final. Go back to the old days of the finals.
They need to lay off the workout clips and start brining back drinking alcohol and arguments. I don't give a shite about watching some guy or girl train like it's an youtube episode of crossfit.

Let's chill on calling Olivia and Theo vets. Also I don't really remember Michaela at all.
My DVR recorded three Challenge episodes yesterday randomly. But it was the last episode of S40 plus the two reunion episodes. I thought that was weird.
I may tune in to this, but it's still pretty close to wrapping up the last season, and I already dedicated like 5 months to that season. Not sure I want to jump back into another Challenge season this fast.
I do like some of the vet cast though, and there looks to be some decent fresh meat additions. And a few hot chicks added as well.

Stop with rolling Aneesa out there, especially in ones where you have a partner, that automatically puts an anchor on them

Yeah. I can't stand her now, but that season she was actually pretty good. And Horatio got fricked over by her injury because the medical team made them quit.

Yeah no doubt. Theo started on Season 33 and Olivia season 38. Micheala apparently was on the challenge usa season 2 and was a fan favorite. I have yet to watch those 2 seasons.

I agree with the exception of gay derek. While he impressed me on 40 there are hundreds of other vets I'd choose over him. We needed a Brad, Darrel, or mark long in there. Derek should be on the C list. Don't forget we get single Nany which is 100x better than relationship Nany.
Fresh Meat was much needed. I wish they would have went the route of Season 12 and Season 19 and cast unknowns that weren't influencers or training internet strippers. We got Evelyn, Evan, Kenny, Cara Maria, Camillia and others from that.
The Fresh Meat cast on paper looks excellent. I heard of none of them except for that Dee girl who won survivor. They said that was a A+ get and could be a staple for a while.
America is cute and looks like the perfect addition to the challenge. Sydney is another good looking one but looks like she's stuck up.
All the men look like your typical love island steroid up baws. Those baws better like to drink and party and not just work out 24/7. We need some kenny and Evan types. There are really no unattractive females on the fresh meat. Adriene looks fake and plastic though like she just lost 75 pounds on ozempic.

Olivia on her rookie season was so likable and good and the following season switched a 180. I wish they would have brought Nurys this season with her beef with Olivia.

I don't know anything about the Fresh Meat lineup but the Vets cast looks pretty solid aside from Aneesa.

The whole concept is they have a pipeline of reality stars coming in as “fresh meat” to the competition, not that they haven’t been on TV before
A tangent there, the one guy being a “boxing commentator” stood out as the only non reality show contestant. Interesting to see how that goes

The actual show starts on July 30th.
Looks like a great cast. Eliminations look great this season. Less puzzles. Excited for this season.

Apparently this is not the same Dee who was banned a few seasons ago.
BTW, Fessy has been cast as a gladiator on the American Gladiators reboot for Amazon. He should do well at that since politics aren't involved.
