I won’t hold my breath, but look at the NBC bias. This is somehow an “attack” on the judiciary, but what been happening to the Trump admin, well that’s (D)ifferent
WASHINGTON — Facing pressure from his right flank to take on judges who have ruled against President Donald Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Tuesday floated the possibility of Congress eliminating some federal courts.
It’s the latest attack from Republicans on the federal judiciary, as courts have blocked a series of actions taken by the Trump administration. In addition to funding threats, Trump and his conservative allies have called for the impeachment of certain federal judges who have ruled against him, most notably U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who attempted to halt Trump from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan migrants.

Remember when the press was calling the Supreme Court illegitimate?

Congress created the judiciary.
They brought it into this world, they can take it out.
They brought it into this world, they can take it out.

All they have to do is stop funding it
It's super easy
It's super easy

NBC News - But the communist bastards never mentioned the Pedocrats attacking the federal judiciary.
Or the federal judiciary's attack on the Executive branch.

The courthouses are federal property, they can shut down the ones they want, and any judge that disapproves.......we close their's down as well.

"Congress created the judiciary."
This is not entirely true. Here is what Article III says:
"The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such inferior courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish."

The Judiciary Act of 1789 created the lower courts.
All Article III did was give Congress permission to do so.

Remember when the libtards protested and threatened a certain couple of Supreme Court Judges with protests at their homes. Remember when they wanted (still want) justice Thomas impeached. But that was just being a democracy.

We would need more circuits - that would allow Republicans to stack the courts. Meanwhile, he could zero out the pay of these rogue judges. They can push that through quickly, assuming they have any balls. This guy is a loser.

This is the answer to all the Dem nonsense.
Don't want to give DOGE access to info? Fine, your budget is 50% of what it was last year.
It's all about money.

You don't need to be rid of federal courts but you DO need to do away with the stupid idea that ALL LEVELS of Federal court are equal to the Presidency of Congress.
It's complete nonsense.
It's complete nonsense.

You don't need to add or remove district courts. Need to change the law to where district judges can't issue these nationwide injunctions. Let them issue injunctions that apply only within the area their district court covers. That should curb the venue shopping nonsense that goes on currently every time some activist group sues to block one of Trump's moves.

How is this comparable to eliminating excessive federal courts?

Your response is why I said “not entirely true.” Article III established the Supreme Court; Congress created the inferior courts.

I like this idea but the jurisdiction of the DC District Court then comes into question as to how far the power goes.

Not really, but Congress can "86" lower courts.
quote:
Article III
Section 1
The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.
