We rented a pontoon boat on blue ridge lake last summer, not sure if this what you’re asking.

The Sand Bar on False River in New Roads rents pontoons. I think the rental business is called Geaux Outdoors.

Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario are pretty wide open, should have room to tube with no problem.

Where are you at and where do you want to go? That has a lot to do with asking for suggestions.

South West Arkansas has some awesome lakes: Lake DeGray, Lake Ouachita, Lake Hamilton (Hot Springs) and Lake Catherine are awesome clear lakes with plenty of room. Broken Bow Oklahoma is also a good spot.

I’ll jump on this. What’s the best lake within 8 or so hours of the Baton Rouge area. I’ve been wanting to trailer my boat and book a cabin for the family. Get away from the coast.

Toledo Bend is probably your best bet, huge lake, great for boating, tubing, and fishing. Lots of cabins and campgrounds around too.
