There was McNeese St, Colorado St (who was actually favored), but most games have been the better seed blowing teams out by 20. It's like the womans tournament where like all 32 higher seeds advance because the disparity. 31 of 32 higher seeds advanced in womens tourney last year. The 1 that wasn't was a 9 beating an 8 haha.

There were thousands of perfect brackets after 32 games, which is over half of games play in the tournament.

Kind of dissappointing. Just had Arkansas beat St Johns. Arkansas still has better recruiting than St Johns. Ark has #3 class in 2024. It's not a typical 10 vs 2 upset.

At 9:15 last night there were only 391 perfect brackets left on ESPN, and that was after only about 28 games. There are currently 18 left.

Why let facts get in the way of this guy's story?

I'm terrified of playing UConn tomorrow. But at least it's the first game on.

That makes it worse. If you lose, your day is ruined. Speaking from experience.

The portal has destroyed CBB cinderella's.

Mark Sears- Ohio
Walter Clayton- Iona
Grant Nelson- North Dakota St

Just a few example of guys that should be leading mid majors instead of 1 and 2 seeds.

10 years ago you had the top teams led by talented freshman and sophomores and these small schools had veteran teams some with guys that flew under the radar. Good recipe for upsets

Now a guy like Amarion Dickerson from RMU will end up in the portal and probably playing for a P4 team next year. Any break out player in the mid major will jump ship to a bigger school.

This will end up being the norm. It does create more parity at the top though and more exciting later rounds. Of the 24 teams left after today, there are legit about 16-18 that have enough to win it all

Upsets are awesome and I love when there’s a lot in a tournament. But the games next weekend are going to be good, on paper at least.

Get used to it with NIL and the portal the way it is. The reason mid majors pulled upsets was they were generally teams that were had upperclassmen that played together for years. That is lost in the current state of the NCAA.

It could lead to more excitement sweet 16 on though.
