So I’ve got a 2013 black suburban that the paint has become just faded and dull. When I got it couple years back it was bad, I imagine the prior owner rarely waxed it and kept it in direct sunlight. The top is void of anything resembling clear coat.

I imagine getting any level paint job on a vehicle the size of a suburban isn’t cheap. I’m just looking for something to last maybe 5 years. Any recommendations in the Hammond area out to say 50 miles that can do a respray of some kind at a number worth putting in to it?

You should have Gordon pay you to put a full wrap on it so we can keep that NIL going.

I have a white truck where the roof is balding and flaking. I’ve often wondered if it’d be worth it to wrap it instead of paint.

At this point this may be my best option.

Sand it with the red scotch brite pad and soap water.
Tape it up.
Rhino line or spray paint.

I had my 2002 Explorer painted 6 years ago by Maaco and it still looks great with a nice shine. Only cost $1,200.

I know a guy who took his 4 wheel drive vehicle he used for playing in the dirt and hunting and he scuffed it up and had it sprayed with the Rhino Line coating like you'd see in the beds of pickups.

It looked strange to me at first but was perfect for his application since it was pretty much his go-to 4 wheeling/hunting truck and took a beating every time he used it.

Sand it with scotch Brite pads.
Clean the dust and oils.
Prime with sandable primer.
Rattle can with Krylon.
Be creative.
