As Russia retakes Kursk, Ukrainians ask, 'Was it worth it?'
…
Kyiv's assault on Kursk in August took Russia, and the world, by surprise. It was the biggest attack on sovereign Russian territory since the Nazi invasion of 1941.
As Ukrainian soldiers smashed into the Kursk region, largely unopposed, they quickly seized some 1,376 square kilometres (531 square miles) of Russian territory.
But short of troops, within weeks the area under Ukraine's control shrank to a narrow wedge. Kyiv used some of its top marine and air assault forces but the grouping was never large enough to be able to hold on to a larger area.
"From the very beginning, logistics was seriously complicated because as we entered the Kursk region, we ensured sufficient depth but we did not ensure sufficient width," said Serhiy Rakhmanin, a Ukrainian lawmaker on the parliament's committee for security and defence.
As this conflict comes to it’s inevitable conclusion, millions of “conservative” Americans should be asking the same question about continued support for U.S. military intervention across the globe.
Yet they won’t. We seem doomed to repeat these same interventionist policies that do nothing but bankrupt the United States ad infinitum.

Many Americans actually do question our interventionist policies and actions. We vehemently oppose said actions and policies, and some of us even communicate with our "representation" through peaceful, civil conduits as it should be. But, we're still the problem, because our"representation" ignores us and we allow it.
Nothing is going to change until the tar and feathers makes a comeback.

The Chalupas and Vindmans of the world had a nice grift running.

Z should make a deal today. Let Russia take what it already has. Ukraine can’t kick them out or won’t do what’s necessary to kick them out (cough Draft cough).
Time to make a deal.

They haven’t really done a draft down to 18 years old.

Nope. They do the opposite of most countries it seems. I think it's 27 or so and up they draft. No young guys.

But we aren’t getting wealthy via the kickbacks and payouts from the MIC like both sides of the aisle in DC. They really don’t care which conflict we get involved in, or who wins, just that it lasts as long as possible so their grift continues on.

It has taken decades upon decades of brainwashing to create “conservatives” who equate any criticism of U.S. foreign aid as a form of Jew-hatred.
I think all foreign funding should be stopped but your post specifically mentioned Israel so it's not surprising that someone asked about it.

Well, since Israel has been the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid, any knowledgeable discussion on the matter will necessarily involve mention of that fact.

But while Canada, Mexico and Europe have been incessantly hostile since Trump won, who has been lock step with America.
Japan and Israel.
You really need to take that into account.

We have given close to 300 billion to ukraine, yes we have. They conviently leave out US Aid, World Bank, UN, about 100 NGOs out of the calculation.
I must have missed the memo where we cut Israel 300 billion.
Its a thread on Ukraine and the antisemites find a way to weave in shat in the thread

Yup and Ukraine is sending their president here to disrespect our president and try to start a coup on our government.
Zero gratitude.
