Not saying best or any kind of lock for Omaha (no ceiling guys like Skenes, Bregs, Crews). But this team seems to have minimal weak spots, specifically the lineup.

I’d say I need to see more from our 2nd and 3rd starters

I mean we’re pretty good but wait till half the team is slumping on the road, things can change quick. Until we’re playing for a championship I won’t confirm

Team looks very good (I'd argue best in the country so far) but we're in the 7th inning of the second weekend of conference play

Let's slow down a little.

Slow down! It's too early to make any comparisons.

With that said, this team is capable of making a run!

No gaps, at least not yet.

Super early but does seem like they can execute on a plan. Need a bunt, you get a bunt down. Like Big Ben keeps saying, tons of pressure. I like this kind of baseball because it keeps things interesting and I would hate to be on the other side.

If we can get a #2 starter to consistently go 6 innings it will be really hard to win 2/3 against this team. The offense has been extremely impressive

Let’s see how Eyanson and Shores do this weekend.

SEC play is just getting going. It’s far too early to judge this team Bryon the fact that they are good enough to compete with anyone. But we have to see how they handle slumps by the leaders and how they handle losing. And frankly how they handle winning.

Oh I get it. Just saying this isn’t a hot start. This is a complete team.

Agree rotation may be the weak link. But even then, no scrubs.

Yes it’s looking and feeling that way, but all the impulsive, unrealistic readers here need to know that even Bertman’s national championship clubs went through adversity/slumps at some point during those seasons.

Let's not jinx it yet. But it's a lot better start than last year. Jays last Arizona team seems like everyone was hitting over .300.

I'd say the same.

I’d say 2008, 2009, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2023 were very good teams post-Skip. Let’s see how ‘25 finishes the season before making any claims like that.

Maybe my interpretation of “complete team” is different for most of you. I’m talking gaps and weaknesses- we’re stretching trying to highlight them.

I’ve been closely following Tiger baseball since mid 90’s.
This team has a very high floor. TBD (on ceiling (too early)

Something has to be said for winning a ton of baseball games and championships. This team has yet to do either.

It’s really looking that way to me as well, and I’ve been glued to this program since those early to mid 90s also.
