I've said it since 2015 because I've known it since 2015, but the reason the political establishment has hated Donald Trump for a decade now is because it was never meant for a TRUE OUTSIDER to win the Presidency who wasn't going to go along with business-as-usual regarding the government.
2000 - Bush vs. Gore Est. v. Est.
2004 - Bush vs. Kerry Est. v. Est.
2008 - Obama v. McCain Est. v. Est.
2012 - Obama v. Romney Est. v. Est.
And 2016? 2016 was supposed to be Hillary vs. Jeb Bush. Two political "dynasties" and as Establishment as it gets.
By now, it's almost impossible to not see this unless a person is either brain-dead or has an axe to grind. Several years of the false narrative of Trump/Russia collusion, 2 impeachments, an FBI raid on Mar-A-Lago, bogus indictments in 4 different jurisdictions, attempts by several states to remove him from their ballot, and multiple assassination attempts should've helped everybody to figure it out by now.
But unfortunately, some people are either really dysfunctional or really stupid, or both.
