Weird how this became a thing. Tons and tons of these on YouTube. Or British people watching American music but there’s fewer of them. I guess people are wanting to see cross cultural connections or something?

I actually find these entertaining, like the Chris Stapleton reaction videos, or even better, Charlie Daniels and the Devil Went Down to Georgia ones

I hate "reaction" videos in general. It is arguably the lowest form of entertainment.

Wait until you've seen reaction videos of reaction videos and yes they exist.

Some of the guys are funny. Stapleton has some soul in him.

Are there any country boys with a first listen to rap?

You should see them react to magic, although the line between that and SRV’s “Texas Flood” at El Mocambo is practically indistinguishable.

Or our society has been conditioned to accept nothing as good/hip/cool unless it is approved by blacks.

Same with all education policies being judged on how they affect blacks, or a community is somehow racist if no blacks are present (see Eric Holder's attempts to Sec8 the suburbs)

Can't say I've ever seen those, but I follow a soul/R&B page and every so often they'll make a post with a bunch of slides of Yacht Rock. All the comments are black men naming their favorite Yacht Rock songs/artists and calling them the "white dude version of soul".

Either most of them are lying or black people are so fricking sequestered that they’ve never heard a fricking Beatles song. Not sure which is worse.

It's not as bad as Gonzo porn but I, I mean people, still apparently watch it.

Its not a reaction video, but its a black dude singing a white person's song.

There are several rappers who I think had a good voice for hard rock/heavy metal.

DMX is one. He did have a song with Marilyn Manson so he has done vocals for a heavy metalish type song.

this is not 1965, where everyone listens to top 40 AM.

It's easy to be musically cocooned today. There are 40-somethings who've never listened to anything but rap

It's kind of funny watching younger black people realize the bee gees are white dudes
