Alcohol is a drug just like any other. Should she lose her Job? Probably. Jail? Probably. Get help absolutely. At least no one is hurt and many people do this same thing. If you don't agree then just open your eyes when you go out to eat etc.

If she has been struggling with this and they knew about it, why was she allowed to pick up the 2 year old while sloshed?

There needs to be harsher penalties for DUIs, thats the only way this stuff is going to stop. First offense should be a minimum of 5 years in prison. Subsequent DUIs should be 10 years each. I don't care if it's an attractive female or not, these people always get a slap on the wrist and are back out driving drunk again. There's no reason to put innocent people in danger of losing their life because you want to have fun and not be responsible.

lol. I seriously doubt this chick is an addict. Why do people think that’s some sort of get out jail free card? She got drunk on St Patty’s Day and made a bad decision.
