Trump's ego is responsible for this - if he stopped everything on Jan 20 and said 'not my war, not in our interests, everything stops now' this war would be over and he'd be a hero. But, his ego demands that he find a way to make Putin bend the knee and that's not happening, so he's dragged this out for two months and now he's the architect of the cease fire that will obviously be sabotaged. This is now Trump's war and his mess to deal with. He had the ability to shove all of this on Biden on Jan 20. He did a great job of that during the campaign and then he ruined that by dragging this out. He needs to do the right thing and pull the plug.

Putin wants the ceasefire if it benefits him and Russia only. He really wants Ukraine to stop blowing up his oil industry but is fine with feeding troops to the meat grinder on the front lines.
The day after Ukraine agreed to a full ceasefire, Putin showed up wearing a military uniform for the first time in several years. The symbolism was very clear. Putin does not want the war to end.

I’m fine with Zelenskyy refusing to enter a peace agreement as long as the US stops all aid and let’s Ukraine fight and fund their own war.

I actually agree with some of his points. I said if Trump did not end this quickly the Deepstate will try and drag it out then place the blame on Trump no matter what happened when this was Biden/Nuland/Deepstate War. The longer it goes on, the more they will try and sabotage the negotiations and place the blame on Trump. He should of came in and told everyone we are out and it's Europe's problem.

If Trump pulls everything Russia rolls all over them and its Trump's fault.
If there is a ceasefire it will give Europe enough time to pour weapons in and keep it up forever.....and its Trump's fault.
He is trying to squeeze Russia harder financially, and squeeze support to Ukraine, to get them to agree to whats on the table and end it.
Zelensky needs to agree to terms and stop it NOT a ceasefire.
And stop with the "meatgrinder" nonsense, that went out 80 years ago.
They are lobbing glide bombs and drones nonstop on the frontlines and killing far more ukranians than Russians.
It was senseless two years ago when GBritian and the MIC stopped the peace accord and its just ridiculous at this point.

Zelensky needs to man the frick up, break away from his puppeteers..and negotiate peace. Ukraine is the loser in this war, and it's okay. The main thing is to stop the war, so Ukraine can start rebuilding and the Ukrainian people can start living their lives without fear.
