Undefeated Tenn leading in BA and ERA and 10 run ruled a top 10 Florida team last night. They look dominant.

This needs to pick up and I think it can, especially with Tanner rotating in at 3B.

I also think there’s space for Curiel to move to CF and have Brown/Pearson as corner outfielders w/ a power bat at DH.

ERA: 7. LSU 3.32

A growing concern if we want to be a contender. Trending the wrong way.

They did get bailed out Friday with the bases loaded with a questionable call.

Tennessee is a damn strong team. However, I’m not putting much into the series with Florida this weekend, as the Gators have had injuries to their pitching staff this past week.

We will definitely see them in Omaha.

LSU is 7 for home runs allowed this year, allowing 11 on the year. Texas is first having allowed 7 while Georgia is last allowing 19

I like this in theory; but it’s hard to take Stanfield out of the 9 hole right now. He’s been setting the table for Derek, bear and Dick really well from down there. His plate discipline is getting better and he gets on base at a .479 clip from the bottom of the order. And he’s an elite defender. You can’t ask for very much more than that.

Tenn is the best team in the country, and they likely will be in the hunt until the end. But it’s a long season, players develop, players regress, and injuries are inevitable. Just get a top 8 seed and see what happens. We’ll see if LSU is good enough to contend.

They got shut down by Floridas freshman starter. Floridas bullpen imploded in the 7th and gave up 9 runs. It was 1-0 going into the 7th.

I see this going down substantially in league play, unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong
