Happy Sunday to you.

You would have had so many rich democrat politicians siphoning so much off that it wouldn't make a bit of difference. NOW, it might make a difference, but not in the past.

This, plus the fact that our own corrupt medical industry would not use those funds to look for a cure ore better treatment, they would just look into ways to keep patients alive longer as they continuously treat them.

The medical industry as a whole is a damn joke, it's 98% about treating, never about preventing, curing or reversing disease.

Why do you think they started telling us things like eggs are bad for us, or that we need to eat 9-11 servings of grains a day, they want the general population obese and sick so they can have non stop revenues.

I hate giving money to Ukraine but the cure still wouldn’t be revealed (not found). A patient cured is a patient lost. Why would they do something like that?

More money is made treating and not curing. Should have hardened the power grid for that $350B.

Trump admin is devastating cancer/disease research by significantly reducing the funds available for cancer research by almost a half, that's just at the DOD (57% reduction).

Imagine if we gave as much attention to drug abuse as we did to Covid…

DOD Should not be involved in cancer research.

I guess common sense is uncommon.

I review grants for the DOD, they are more rigorous than the NIH, and they only fund high-impact research with the focus on those affecting the military. But what do I know.

If given to St. Jude, we could end cancer. That’s the only large scale charity I trust.

If we had given $350 billion more to cancer research it would have done no good. All the smartest people who want to work on cancer research are already doing it, and they're adequately funded. Give $350 billion more and it would be stolen or used to hire the incrementally less capable.

Politicians, lobbies, and pharma would find a way to profit of it and only a small % would actually go to research...shite like cancer risk in transgenders would get the most $$

We need to spend money that can be tracked and used appropriately and honestly shouldn't be spending that much as a federal government anyways

It would still be a massive waste of money.....they have no intention of curing cancer. It would cut into their profits.

Exactly. Truly wild levels of ignorance and self-deception here.

Just think...we game $1,000 per person of the United States, to a Country halfway around the globe, to fight a war that has absolutely nothing to do with us
