Need to buy complete set of tires, including install, for my daughter’s Honda CRV. Need recommendation for service in Lafayette area. Thanks!

If you’re a member of Costco, compare their prices vs discount tire.

Last three sets I bought: wife, daughter and son all came from discount tire. They will repair a flat if they can and rotate them for free.

Costco will as well but getting an appointment can be a pain.

Ross Tire or Firestone are options too.

All reputable tire shops will be fine. Firestone/Mavis are practically interchangeable with more options for tires. Costco will have options, generally more affordable name brand tires like Bridgestone.

Install is generally always included in their pricing. If you order and make an appointment online some places will pay for the 4th tire if it's a specific name brand. It would even out to the price of some uncommon brands.

I’ve been happy with Sam’s for price but the service is not the best. I went to discount tire for two sets of tires and I’ve been impressed. Each time they’ve been really busy, 5 0r 6 a head of me, and I was still out with four new tires in less than an hour. Got free wipers with my last set too.

Try the Honda dealership that services your Honda. Sometimes they have specials on tire sales.

Everyone price matches. The hassle of dealing with Costco isn't worth it. Ever.

Just bought a set of 4 for my Yukon for $900, including mount & balance, from Quicklane at the local ford dealer in Alexandria. They have a promo buy 3 get the fourth for $1. I will also be getting $70 rebate in the mail. If they have one in your area it may be worth checking out.

If you want to have to take out a second mortgage this is the right answer.

no discount in Lafayette, we are stuck with tire choice everywhere they suck.

Ross is pricey, but we get mechanical work done there.

Ross around Baton Rouge will rape you on service prices. I had to tell my niece to come to me for any work needed first as they were quoting her astronomical prices.

Kind of the typical unaccompanied, single, young female price/service...change your blinker fluid for $100.

Cheap tires are pretty good now. Do not get off road or even all terrain unless they will be used as such. Both suck for rain and can be deadly in snow.
Discount tire is great as they usually fix any issue free even without paying for extra warranty. They are super quick too. Just don’t get a nail within an inch of the sidewalk or you gotta go to Joe blow to fix it.
Walmart is just fine quality wise but will take longer and generally be a hassle to get service.
