Agreed. Garth first two albums were great. Much too young and those songs were better than anything Toby Queef ever did. But Garth definitely turned douche later on..

I never liked TK music. Garth Brooks at onetime was the most famous music star on the Planet. Then after a few years he just disappeared. So musically I would have to go GB.

Right after Toby died, I went back and listened to his catalog, and the guy was super underrated
He got known later in his career for being the guy that wrote the boot in your arse song, but the guy has some bangers going back to 91.

Garth Brooks actually released a few good songs early on. Toby Keith's were gimmicky catshit from the beginning and only got worse. Should have been a Cowboy was his best song and it's just a airheady singalong. It goes down quick after that.

Toby had some very likable tunes. He had a style and he stuck with it.

Obviously like most, we liked Garth at first. His ego took over and made him very unlikeable.
On the other had, Toby became more likeable as his career went on. Plus, he continued to make good fun music his entire career. Garth had a streak then basically nothing
