No NYC or London? New Orleans food is good but has nowhere near the variety you can get in a bigger city like NYC or even Houston.

New Orleans was the only American city in the top 20.
I agree. Houston has what New Orleans offers as well as the best of the best for variety. The list is the list tho.

I’ll say this- it’s certainly the most affordable best food. London or NYC- sure but the quality and value you can find on most corners in NO beats them.

Been to many extremely large cities and have heard this variety argument you speak of.
Tell me exactly what variety there is, that cannot be found in NOLA if you look.
I can tell you a few that can only be found in or around NOLA.

In order to get the NOLA quality you have to pay out the arse at most places. NOLA is unique in the USA ain’t hat you can get an incredible meal at a reasonable price.

NOLA food is like the usual food here in the Arkansas delta, but with more seasoning... and a better seafood variety. Like, the seafood might have actually come from the sea.

Besides Vietnamese and Thai, New Orleans is lacking when it comes to Asian cuisine. Houston has amazing Chinese, Korean, Indian, etc.

And let me clarify, Houston is amoung the tops in tUSA for food. They have top notch everything if you look.
Just that "variety" argument everybody uses is bullshite.
