Absolutely ridiculous. Anyone who believes those college protests were in support of Hamas is being hoodwinked by people who want to cause a Middle East conflict that will get us knee deep in it. We need cooler heads to prevail. The protestors are more right in the big picture than many of those in power over our foreign policy. We need peace and we need the Palestinian state with broad normalization of relations between the majority Muslim nations and Israel. Our fight is in the Pacific. We need Europe and Middle East to stop being a thorn in our arse.

So why would you ever think that letting foreigners protest in our country be a good thing or even a protected right? A foreigner overthrowing a government is an invasion. Citizens overthrowing a government is a revolution. There's a reason citizens get the first amendment. You're selling your country out so you can feel righteous.

With your logic, China should be able to send 100k people here as "students" to protest and create disruptions. And we should be happy and proud about it.
