Not able to provide a link but there is a nice interview with Hatch in this mornings' N.O.Times Picayune. He made the observation that he will probably be the only college FB player who can claim to have played in the Yale Bowl, the Swamp, & TS. He has nothing but good feelings bout his time as a Tiger & is looking forward to bring his kids to a game in TS when he has a family & bragging bout his playing time as a Tiger.

what he has learned in the SEC will serve him well in theIVY League. True that they can spell football but they dont hit or play defense like we do.

Is he going to be able to start for them this coming year? I'll be interested in seeing how he does there after his time here.

It's always great to see a person with good feelings about LSU. Sadly, most people think Lee was better than him. I wish he'd have stayed. He's a way smarter quarterback than Lee, even if as not physically gifted. He also played with heart.

It's like a movie for him lol..

JV quarterback that went to the SEC.. played his heart out.. then transferred back to the ivy league to play.. got to earn a starting position and the respect with the SEC experience.

He apparently knows his playing time would have been greatly reduced & he still wants to play as a competitor. He made no mention on what would happen at Harvard in regards to playing. He did say that he was looking forward to the looks his NC ring will get around campus.

To get a degree from Harvard.

Given the choice to have Harvard or LSU on my diploma I'd chose HArvard.

He's nothing but a class act. With LaFell considering going pro (but now is staying for his Sr. season), I was worried that we may be losing a lot of Senior leadership next year. I think Scott, Lafell, Cirron, and others will step up into that role.

As for Hatch, I hope we get to follow him if he plays at Harvard. I had nothing but respect for him and clearly he was a calming influence for Lee.

Rather than comparing the two between Lee and Hatch, I prefer to be happy that our quarterback situation is getting back to normal after all the events of last year.

What a great story if Hatch does have children and is able to bring them back to Tiger Stadium. He deserves the best and as a Tiger fan I wish him the very best!

Great kid and will root for him to succeed, except when they play Yale; got a couple of Yalees in the family.

The other good thing is he has a Championship ring from 07

I was never a Hatch fan, anyone who searches my posts will see that. But that article just proves what a bunch of rantards we really are and what a class act Hatch is. Good luck Andrew

got to give it to him, while he wasnt the most talented, he played with some heart, and got banged up a couple of times.
