A classy letter from someone who has not forgotten his roots. I wish him the best in his future endeavors. With this attitude he will continue to be a role model for the kids who aspire to improve themselves. His future looks bright.
re: SEC simply needs to force Florida to Forfeit the game.

No. We wouldn't want it that way if the situation were reversed. Respect the decision. It wasn't that long ago that LSU & other teams faced similar problems. Florida has fans and players from all over Florida. With the potential damage from the hurricane, how could anyone expect a different decision. Take into consideration when life, property, and cleanup is unknown, along with first responders deployed everywhere, and unknown transportation issues to & from a game played anywhere. I'm sure the Gator fans wanted this game as much as LSU fans. Hopefully the game can be rescheduled, if not we need to move on.

Any time someone is at the top of his game, he becomes a target for taunts. As a professional, he has to expect this & not let others get into his head. Let's hope this situation becomes a learning experience so he can remain at the top of his game. I believe he will & wish him the best.
Hogwash. There is a tremendous number of LSU fans in Texas along with quite a few very active alumni chapters throughout Texas.
Not only is this article a nice read, it sounds like he has his head screwed on correctly. With his work ethic, he should do well in life. I wish him the best.
The proposed Home & Home games in 2019/20 have added UT vs LSU in Austin followed by Baton Rouge in 2020. Should be an exciting series for the LA & TX fans in both states.
re: Brandon Harris - Wow..what an interview,,,,

We have to remember we are seeing a young man just out of high school starting in his 1st game. In order to improve, one has to own up to his own performance which he did calmly in this interview. I hope the coaching staff will be there to help him improve. He sure has the right attitude to develop his skills. I look forward to his steady improvement along with the rest of the team.

I enjoyed meeting with and joking around with the Wisconsin fans who were tailgating and at the stadium. I believe they felt the same way.
re: Ncaa proposed rule change for no huddle

This proposal stinks. Every team has an equal chance to use the hurry up offense. It adds excitement to the game.
We are proud of the win as the team should be as well.
Is it time to turn "time management" over to one of the assistant coaches?
It's all his to lose. I'm counting on him to come thru & make himself & this LSU community proud.

"Fan" tastic. Kudos to the creator.
As a fan, I have admired his kicking skills all season. He has played an important role for the LSU team. Thanks for the link.
Is this DVD available in Blu Ray as well?

Geaux tigers.
This video should be viewed annually by college players in all sports. It would also be good for the pros as well.
SEC Expansion
Posted by txquacker on 8/13/11 at 12:11 pm
What does the SEC gain by expanding the number of teams in the Conference? Will LSU recruiting in Texas be more difficult for LSU if Texas A & M bolts to the SEC?

I just got back from Yellowstone National Park. I saw several LSU fans while hiking thru the trails.

Thanks for the info about T & F. I am glad you took the time to cover this sport since we hear so little about the participants. I look forward to hearing about their accomplishments. Geaux LSU!
