The top two teams from the SEC that don’t make the tournament get an auto bid. If there are 14 teams in, it’s a lock. 13 may still get us in unless USCe jumps us

Not going to happen. USC did enough today to move safely ahead of LSU in the metrics that the NIT uses for selection.

As long as OU or Texas get in the NCAAT, we are pretty much guaranteed an NIT spot. Depends on how the metrics play out, as to whether it’s us or South Carolina get the last auto bid to the NIT from the SEC.
