Which PS5 game should I get?

Typically play simple things like sports games, or Mario and Astro Bot with the kids. I’ll occasionally find myself aimlessly wondering around the open-worlds and stories of games like RDR2, GTA5, Hogwarts Legacy (but on easy mode so I can advance the story more quickly because I don’t have enough free time to keep dying and trying again).

Given my pre-novice gaming level, which PS5 game should I get: Spider-Man 2 or Elden Ring?

Or should I wait until next month to see how Assassin’s Creed Shadows is?

Elden Ring is an all-time game but is not for the faint of heart. This might literally be the worst game for anyone that doesn't want to keep dying and trying again

Casual gamers complained that it should be easier and the head of the studio basically told them to go frick themselves

If you're thinking about getting AC, just get Ghost of Tsushima

Ratchet and Clank was a fun platformer like Mario and Astro Bot. not hard either.

YOLO, just jump straight into Bloodborne

But seriously, between those two, Spiderman 2

Cyberpunk 2077 is my favorite open world this gen. It launched rough but is an amazing game now

Elden Ring is by far the best game mentioned thus far but if you don't like dying a lot you won't like it.

It's probably the overall easiest FromSoftware "soulslike" game but it's still way, way, way harder than your average triple A game.

Honestly, if you’re mainly into casual gaming with kids and want to enjoy a story without getting frustrated, I’d lean toward Spider-Man 2. It’s easy to pick up, the swinging around New York is pure fun, and you don’t have to worry about dying a hundred times like in Elden Ring. That said, when I’m in a relaxed mood, I sometimes like to spin a few free online slots in my downtime. It’s kind of like gaming but with instant thrills and no tutorial screens. One of my favorites for that is a detailed review I stumbled upon for casinos licensed by the Kahnawake Commission. You can check it out here: https://casinosfest.com/fr/casino-en-ligne-kahnawake/ to see which sites feel secure and fair. The review breaks down how these casinos handle player safety and data, which makes it a nice way to unwind without worrying about anything shady. So while you’re deciding between PS5 games, maybe keep a little “mini-game” session like that in the background; it’s surprisingly satisfying.
