US State Geography & Canadian Land Aquisition

When we make Canada the 51st state I want to make their governing power the size of Delaware and cut up the rest of the country and give it to the other states.

So we’re just gonna make Alaska, Washington, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine bigger and frick all the other states?

No, Canada has 2,247,054,500 acres of land. Divided by 50, that means each state gets an additional 4,494,109 acres of land.

I don’t think Puerto Rico would like it if we gave Canada state status.

It's fun to kid around about them being a state but I don't want any part of adding another California with lefty politics and electoral votes to this country.

You make them a state but take their land from them. Similar to what was done when other states were formed. They took land from that specific state like Virginia and made other states out of it.

We will just be a split state. Let Louisiana take over Quebec and maybe Nova Scotia to reunite the Cajuns with their French heritage.
Fun fact St. Martin Parish exists in Louisiana as a split parish. You have one party around Lafayette and another near Morgan City.
Iberia Parish splits it in basin.

I think we need to acquire the land south of the St. Lawrence river. A good natural barrier.

Just make most of it a national wildlife refuge. Have a sustainable lumber policy out of there and have great managed hunting.
