NL Team announced
DETAILED ROSTER BY POSITION (CLUB/COUNTRY; CAPS/GOALS)
GOALKEEPERS (3): Patrick Schulte (Columbus Crew; 3/0), Zack Steffen (Colorado Rapids; 30/0), Matt Turner (Crystal Palace/ENG; 49/0)
DEFENDERS (8): Cameron Carter-Vickers (Celtic/SCO; 18/0), Marlon Fossey (Standard Liege/BEL; 1/0), Mark McKenzie (Toulouse/FRA; 17/0), Tim Ream (Charlotte FC; 67/1), Chris Richards (Crystal Palace/ENG; 23/1), Antonee Robinson (Fulham/ENG; 50/4), Joe Scally (Borussia Mönchengladbach/GER; 19/0), Auston Trusty (Celtic/SCO; 4/0)
MIDFIELDERS (6): Tyler Adams (Bournemouth/ENG; 42/2), Johnny Cardoso (Real Betis/ESP; 18/0), Diego Luna (Real Salt Lake; 3/0), Weston McKennie (Juventus/ITA; 58/11), Gio Reyna (Borussia Dortmund/GER; 31/8), Tanner Tessmann (Olympique Lyon/FRA; 6/0)
FORWARDS (6): Patrick Agyemang (Charlotte FC; 2/2), Yunus Musah (AC Milan/ITA; 45/1), Christian Pulisic (AC Milan/ITA; 76/32), Josh Sargent (Norwich City/ENG; 27/5), Timothy Weah (Juventus/ITA; 42/7), Brian White (Vancouver Whitecaps/CAN; 3/1)
Diego Luna and his big balls will have a good camp I bet. Musah listed as a forward.
My projected starters would be
Turner
Scally Richards Ream Robinson
Adams McKennie
Musah Pulisic Weah
Sargent

Really want us to start trying out CCV or McKenzie next to Richards. They need to get used to playing with each other as we can't rely on Ream in 2026.

Zendejas has been in great form in Mexico. Kinda shocked he wasn’t included.

Happy that Horvath is no longer an auto call up.
Our GK pool is still incredibly arse, but at least we're calling in guys that can theoretically challenge Turner for the #1.

I’m surprised he didn’t call in Zendejas or Cowell. Aaronsen is the other snub imo.
Pretty crazy how we have 5 injured players (pretty typical amount), yet this includes all 3 of our PSV guys.

There haven’t been this many Americans wounded in Holland since operation market garden.

Just finished making my wife watch this with me. Dick Winters, TYFYS. Sobel pound sand.
Apparently in addition to McGlynn Brian Gutierrez and Max Arfsten are in camp.

I literally have no idea who this is. I had to Google, and wow between him and Brian White we're really scraping the bottom of the MLS barrel for depth aren't we. Why not throw some young guys into to the deep end to at least get them some experience for the future, or who could at least show something going into next summer.
Also, who the hell is gonna play LB now on thurs?

It’s gotta be Scally at LB and then an out of position star at RB (likely Weah), right?
Posted on 3/19/25 at 11:13 am to Keys Open Doors
That would be my guess. There’s also a chance Fossey starts at RB.

Makes you wonder why Dest didn't make that ridiculously large preliminary nations league roster we submitted. We had to have known he was close to returning right?
Posted on 3/19/25 at 1:53 pm to etm512
Ya but id have to imagine even if they knew the timetable they probably would prefer he stay there and keep working on full fitness and getting back into the groove.
They probably did the same thing for Haji.
And I guess it's time for the long waited return of Some frick to LB.
