What's a series people were or still are obsessed with that you have no interest in?

For me it was Orange is the New Black. I never had the slightest desire to watch it. It felt like people just glommed onto it because it was a new name in the early run of powerful dramas that are now the norm and not because it was actually that great.

Lost. And not because it was a bad show or anything, but trying to watch it when it that first season was a chore. At that time I remember where it would be a solid 2 or 3 weeks between episodes. That seemed to happen constantly and I just said frick it.

Seinfeld. Never understood the appeal. Frasier was the far superior 90s NBC sitcom

Breaking Bad.

I don't doubt it's an excellent show, so let me preface with that. But I tried to watch it and it just didn't click for me. I've considered giving it another try in the future to see if it was just a space I was in when I tried before.

I never connected with Succession for some reason, tried several times. I get why people would like it though.

Mad Men
Walking Dead (could tell halfway through season 1 this shite was going to boring as hell) I’ve never seen a network run a product into the ground so much as it did with that show.

Well until paramount came out and made Sheridan come out with a million shows

Game of Thrones just wasn’t a genre I was interested in, although it seems most everyone who watched it loved it (til the end).

Surprised on Mad Men, I thought that had pretty universal appeal.

I'm with you on Walking Dead and all Taylor Sheridan shows. Walking Dead it took until middle of season 2 to realize it was going to get bad and then I bailed in season 3. Blew my mind people stuck around to season... 12?

And Taylor Sheridan after watching what he did to Yellowstone and seeing the same pattern start in Landman I usually pass these days.

First season is very slow to be honest but it is worth it.

The genre may not be exactly what you expect. It isnt drama, its a lot of political intrigue/maneuvering mixed with humor and fantasy elements.

Game of Thrones -TV

Harry Potter - Movies

Guess Fantasy is my least favorite genre

With worthy exceptions to Highlander and Princess Bride.

Game of thrones.

I get so bored with fantasy stuff. Hobbits rock people dragons those kind of things do not entertain me. This includes those old fable settings and weird accents.

I was late to it but despite me not being a fan of cringe humor it still works somehow.

Its hit or miss though.

BB. I know it’s universally praised. But the scene early in season one with the bathtub incident just threw me off forever. I just couldn’t come to care about any character and therefore couldn’t care for the show. No matter how good it was.
