If you are in the Baton Rouge area, who would you get to install and balance tires that you bought online? Thanks

Shopping Bridgestone dueler a/t Revo 3.

Amazon price sold by Simple Tire beats Simple Tire's online price by about $60 a tire. If the OB gives some good local install suggestions, I'm going to pull the trigger and buy from Amazon. The all in price bought from a local tire shop is $2400 installed. No thanks!

I have used McDonald's Tire on Sharp twice. No issues.

Used TireBuyer.com both times. Bought Nitto and Toyo truck tires.

Do you have a Costco membership? I ran the numbers on all of the online options plus install and Costco was still quite a bit cheaper.YMMV depending on the tires you want.

I checked with them online...they won't answer the phone. I have a 3/4 ton pickup and want a 10 ply lt tire. They don't carry any for my truck at the moment.

Earlier this week I purchased a tire for my motorcycle off of Amazon and will be getting it early this coming week. Fair price for the tire I got plus free shipping. Damn thing was $250 and if I'm lucky, I'll get 12K out of it.

I will remove the old tire, mount and balance the new one and install it back on the bike and that alone saves me close to $200 in labor.

For auto tires, I've used Costco for both my Silverado and the wife's Camry with no issues.

I’m not in LA but I’ve used Pepboy’s before up here and they were fine. $25 or so per tire. Firestone will do it as well.

But, I’ve decided that Discount Tire is probably the easiest. With install, price, and follow up rotations they are typically a very cheap route.

Tire Rack and/or Discount Tire. Used the shop in Prairieville.

30 minute install. Price was great

Good luck

The worst part about Costco is you need to anticipate when you need to rotate them and make an appointment in plenty of time.

They used to do 1st thing walk in but I believe they did away with that. Even then I would wait around for 2 hours.

I’ve had 2 sets from Costco and I don’t think it was worth my time.

I always just get a price online and call a couple tire shops to see if they’ll match the price. Someone always does. Then I use them to mount and balance.

Discount tire. They now have shops where the tired will be shipped to, schedule and appointment and get them installed. Free rotation. They price match too.

I buy them online from Discount tire and then have them mounted and balanced at their store.

I’d call ahead and see what the price is for the tires you were to bring in being installed and balanced. They’ll normally stick you good if you don’t buy the tires thru them. Just a heads up.

Discount Tire will price match most reputable stores. Not sure about amazon though but its worth a shot. They are all over the country and if they install them, you get lifetime rotate, balance, and flat repairs. Plus they always have very respectful employees.

This is a fair point. The other sticking point at Costco is that sometimes they'll only install the OE tire size on your truck (though not true of all locations/tire managers). This is to avoid lawsuits claiming damage after install, apparently.

I wanted to go up ONE tire size--- no lift or mods required-- and they wouldn't play because their computer told them not to. Obviously not a problem if you're running stock sizes, but my inner south Georgia 16-year-old still likes to stuff as much rubber under the fenders as I can-- old habits die hard, I guess.

I've ordered from tire rack for my wife's EV. Then pay for the tire installation where their guy shows up with the new tires in my driveway and installs them . They have a balance machine in the back of the van.

I have shopped at Tirerack.com. They have an excellent website and a llot of reviews so you can compare various tires.

I shopped, but didn’t buy my last set online. What I saved in tires, I would have spent more on mounting and balancing locally, so it balanced out. I just ended up buying from Sam’s club.
