Too easy, fill out the online form and say you have insomnia for example. They'll call and set you up right after.

Half the docs giving out the card don’t even care to hear what you have. They’ll gladly hand out a card to anyone

Pretty easy. They have doctors for it from what I hear. Kind of like back doctors for pain pills back in the day, or getting on testosterone these days.

Title 18, Section 922(g)(3), of the U.S. Code prohibits any person “who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance” from possessing a firearm or ammunition. Weed is still illegal under federal law.
Some prosecutors have gone after people based on being weed users and having a gun. A mom whose kid was in a school shooting got popped for it because they couldn’t get her for anything else. Having the weed card makes it easy to get you.
One local gun store has a sign that says if you smoke you can’t buy.
I think it’s stupid, but be aware.

coordinating meeting up with/deliveries with drug dealers can get old when you have a full time job and whatnot

True, but I lost them when I moved to VA to help take care of Mom.
