Turns out DJ lives in Al Green's District. I was on click2houston (NBC local affiliate). People on there were saying nobody has run as a republican in Al Greens district for a long time. Anyway why not run his dad for that seat. Thought it was interesting.

A black Republican should switch parties and run there. Most of the voters wouldn’t notice.
