He’s been openly against it since before the election

Where did Isolationist Rand go?
Posted on 3/4/25 at 5:33 pm to tigerskin
There already are Canadian, Mexican and Chinese tariffs.

Good. Great to see a Republican even if just in name speaking out against this asinine Trump Tax that we'll all suffer.

It’s cool he can disagree on this but still be pro Trump

US tariffs inevitably bring Canadian, Mexican, and Chinese tariffs which means higher prices for lumber, steel, aluminum and more expensive homes and cars.
I hope he's wrong...
bottom line is, we're trying to get fair trade
so, can someone tell us how we do that without tarriffs?

These good ole baws are fine with paying more, anything to promote larger societal goals....

Tariffs turn into a consumption tax which I’m fine with but you better eliminate my income tax.

These tariffs will not last long....book that.
The other countries will see the light, they always do.

The tarrifs are reciprocal, which means we're only placing the same tarrifs on items that other countries are placing on OUR American products.
Do you want to bring those industries back to the United States or not? It's a simple question

They dont realize not all these tariffs are "retaliatory"

Love or hate Trump, this tariff stuff is a shite show and the American people will suffer with another spike in prices for goods. Canada is terminating American contracts which hurts business. But worst of all, it sours our relationships with our Allies playing right into Putin’s hands. Sad.

There are 2 separate sets of tariffs being imposed.
1)Fentanyl
2)Reciprocal
Is it really that hard to keep up?

Short term pain for long term gain rog. They have been tariffing our arse to death. Has caused huge trade deficits. It has to stop. They need exports to us way more than we need their imports. It will work itself out. Your bus will still be cruising.

Calm down. This has nothing to do with Putin. Good god
