This would be awesome. I bet if they leave, Saskatchewan and Manitoba would come too. New Foundland would probably as well.

Let’s throw in the west coast as a trade and keep it at an 50.

Alberta gets us Cold War Motors and Saskatchewan would net Carter's Auto Restyling. Make old car restoration and panel beating great again

Newfies? I don’t know…

What’s the difference between a Newfie and The Rolling Stones?

The Stones say, “Hey, you, get off muh cloud.”

A Newfie says, “Hey, McCloud, get off my ewe.”

What if we give them Detroit and Baltimore in exchange?

I worked with a bunch of them, they're just northern rednecks. But I've never worked with a liberal Canadian though.

Skeptical as to the reality, what would be involved from the U.S side,. approving .a constitutional amendment, etc ?

Sure if you want Democrat rule forever.

Alberta being among the conservative places in Canada would be a top 5 most liberal states in the US. The concept of left and right between us don’t align at all.

When polled they would overwhelmingly vote for Democrat policies.

You can bet on it, to the extent they can, Democrats won’t allow this unless state hood is also granted to Puerto Rico or DC.

2 Democrat Senators. Maybe you get a Murkowski here and there.

Consistently all electoral votes to a Dem.

People just do not understand the difference between left and right concepts in the US v Canada.

They’d be closer to Oregon than they would Texas.
