Players who are higher in the all-time record books than you’d expect

Buddy Hield is 17th in all-time 3-PT FG made, and will likely break into the Top 10 next season.

I'm shocked Jason Kidd is as high as he is in threes. It was gospel for over a decade that he was a poor shooter

He’s 35% for his career which isn’t bad but is also nothing to write home about.
It also helps that he’s played more games than everyone in the Top 50 except for Lebron, Dirk, Jason Terry, and Vince Carter

Basically, a compiler, who admittedly did improve his shot over the years.

Better three point shooter than MJ.

I know I'm not an NBA fan when I've never seen the name or heard of Buddy Hield.

Good one because I was just looking at this the other day. I wanted to see who were the leading tacklers at the safety position of all time.
I was surprised that Ryan Clark was 11th all time in combined tackles for safeties LINK

He was a stud at Oklahoma.

An idea how far back they track records? I asked the same question of Ronnie Lott and I got " I understood your question, but there were no results."

I'm assuming they didn't keep the same kind of records back then for combined and total tackles

I had honestly forgotten how good is senior year was until I saw the stats the other day.
25 PPG on 46% 3-PT shooting and led OU to a Final 4. Everyone knew he was gonna shoot it but he still led the nation in 3-PT percent. Truly one of the best seasons by a guard in CBB history

Jacoby Brissett has the lowest career interception percentage for any QB that meets the minimum qualifications.
He's got 53 career starts which is still a good bit to be on top all-time.

I was a fan. Haven’t followed him much in the NBA except a few games I was able to see him in a Pels uniform. He will shoot it from anywhere!

Former Alabama kicker Will Reichard is the all-time leading points scorer in College Football

The three point shot has really been around for what, 20-25 years and Hield has been in the league for 10. I wouldn’t have guessed top 20 but definitely in the top 30ish. He puts up 7.5 a game over his career. GREAT shooters were taking like 3 a game in the 90s

If Ted Williams didn't miss so many years for WW2 & Korea he would have the most mind boggling stats in MLB History
It's amazing that he is so high on MLB Records Lists

Mark Ingram is 50th all time in career rushing yards.
Thomas Jones is 27th
Curtis Martin is 6th.
All 3 are guys that always struck me as "good" players who were never the best or arguably even top 5 in the league at any point in time. Maybe I'm selling Martin short, because I was a young kid in his prime, but he didn't seem like a special player back then, but managed to compile a hell of a career
