Franklinton has a population of 3,518.
Hardly enough people to ride the float and catch beads.

A local black family puts on the parade and it’s an all day affair for their community. It’s always been a fun event for the whole town. This goofball police chief is right in that the shooting was “on the parade route” but the shooting happened well after the parade. Like most govt employees he just doesn’t want to work on a Sunday afternoon so they’re trying to get the parade shut down in the future. There’s these little gang factions popping up out of the local high school and this “chief” is ill-equipped to deal with it even on a bloated budget.

No peanut throwing or knuckle checking while drinking two handles of whiskey?

Yeah, this sounds like a police chief problem.

The only thing that keeps Franklinton from really being properly shite on here is that Bogalusa is even more abysmal.
Race to the bottom.

The fair in franklington has a huge turnout.
Never been to the parade there. But also not far from bogalusa where the likely problem came from….
