All the countries “standing” with Ukraine

… are full of shite. Their proclamations of “standing” with Ukraine is about as useful as the feeble minded Karens on Facebook and X with a blue & yellow profile picture who think they’re making some sort of difference. And even their “aid” is hollow. They can send all the money, all the arms, all the ammunition they want. It won’t make one iota of difference. The only thing that can save Ukraine at this point is one of two things…
1. MAKE PEACE YOU FOOLS!
or
2. The Western Powers raise, train, and equip the equivalent of something in the range of 2 to 3 army groups and 4 air forces, roughly the same sized force the Western Allies fielded in France during WWII, and send them to the front as active belligerents in the war against Russia. So, basically WWIII.
That’s it. Those are the only two options left on the table at this point if Ukraine is to survive this war as things stand today. Material aid will not prevent Ukraine from exhausting the last of its manpower reserves and ultimately collapsing. Only boots on the ground will make a difference.
So, unless all the European countries are willing to send thousands of their boys to Ukraine to fight, suffer, and die, then they need to either shut the frick up or start helping convince Zelensky to come to the table with a sincere willingness to accept the best peace available to them.

European leaders will do what they have always done in recent times. Bang the drum and get on social media saying that they will do whatever it takes to hero Ukraine defeat Russia. However when the rubber meets the road they will actually do nothing. Which sucks for the people of Ukraine and the soldiers that have put up one hell of a fight against a much larger and well equipped military. Unfortunately for them their leader is an idiot.

If Europe sent troops to Ukraine to fight Russia, the Russians would use tactical nuclear weapons.

It almost sounded today like Z expects Europe to raise him an army.. hard to tell with his bloviating though.
You're right and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with the world's reaction to this. It is like Z is the ugliest girl at the school being groomed for humiliation at the Senior Prom by a group of mean, popular kids.

I've more or less posted this same thought a couple times tonight.
The outlook and options for Ukraine going forward are not good at all unless they accept concessions and take this ceasefire opportunity presented to them now. They are running out of manpower and are scraping the bottom of the barrel, no amount of weapons, supplies, and materiel can change that... unless you're talking additional manpower from the European countries that claim to support them at any cost on X.
Now you're talking about World War 3, and I have a hard time believing the US stays clean in that scenario.
So either tens of thousands more Ukrainian men die and Russia ends up taking the same or more territory they already occupy, the EU bolsters the Ukrainian forces with men of their own and all-out war (most likely nuclear eventually) happens and it's millions dead - if not everyone - , or Zelenskyyyy swallows his pride and comes to the table now to sign a peace deal.
There is only one good option here to anyone with a functional brain

Don’t think Putin is gonna risk nuclear war over Ukraine. Only way that happens is if those European forces start pushing deep into Russia and the nuclear option is the only way to prevent the complete collapse of Russia.

Pray tell what European forces those would be? The only military in mainland Europe that’s remotely capable of actually fielding an army that could make any difference is Poland.

Not saying that there is one. Did you not look at the comment I was responding too? It was response to a statement would use tactical nukes if European boots went on the ground in Ukraine which he wouldn’t except in the event of one specific scenario.

They’re not standing WITH Ukraine.
They’re standing NEAR Ukraine.
They’re not actually going to do jack shite for Ukraine.

Some questions that I have:
1. For all these Euro countries that have pledged support for Ukraine, do they have any stockpile of arms left to give?
2. How big are their standing armies? How is recruitment going? Will the new "immigrants" sign up to fight for their new countries? Will the people in jail for mean facebook posts volunteer for service?
3. Do the Euro countries even have a manufacturing base to make more arms? Are they even industrialized any more? Would they need to re-industrialize prior to making more arms?
4. How does re-industrialization to support arms manufacture work with "Net 0" emission goals?

Until it becomes the lives of their kinsmen and the treasure of their citizens on the line, it is nothing more than social media bloviation and worth no more than a post on the TD poli board or the like.

All the Europe countries do is posture but rely on the United States to be their daddy essentially. They talk shite knowing we have shielded them. I'm glad its over. They need to start doing shite on their own protection wise and stop relying on us the taxpayers

The European countries don't have nukes themselves?
Are you capable of thinking past Forrest Gump level logic?

The French and British would pummel the Russians in a straight up fight without much of a thought. The Russians have sucked on ice against a fourth rate European force over the last 3 years; imagine them going against a legitimately cohesive force with real 5th generation fighters and American-produced CAS.
