Will chicken necks or chicken wings work for crawfish bait?

Making a test run in our swamp but can’t find bait locally.

Never tried those but I've shoved chicken livers into an old sock and that worked

If you go by Tony’s seafood in BTR, they sell the catfish after the filet meat has been removed. I’ve used it with great results.

Use catfish heads or find something cheaper than chicken.

Yes, chicken necks work.

I remember using what we called beef melt which I think was cow pancreas but may have been spleen or a combination but I can't recall exactly. I think that has gotten too expensive now so I suspect things like chicken innards, fish parts, or even whole or cut-up fish like carp are much cheaper. And that artificial bait they make.
Or maybe clear out your freezer of anything you are ready to throw out? Crawfish and crabs are not picky.

I can’t see how wings would even be on the table here. Two family packs for $35 is not good bait.
