"Gov. Landry tapped Fiscal Responsibility Czar Steve Orlando to head the DOGE department. Orlando is tasked with identifying ways to ensure efficient government and reduce waste, according to a news release issued by his office Wednesday.
Orlando will work closely with the Louisiana Legislative Auditor and the Governor's Fiscal Responsibility Program.
According to Landry, the LLA will continue to maintain independent oversight of functions as mandated by state law.
Landry, Orlando, and the LLA ask residents to contribute their insights and recommendations to enhance Louisiana's fiscal future by sending their suggestions to the email LADOGE@LLA.LA.GOV."

What items will you submit?
Some of mine are:
>Louisiana's First Lady's Office and Budget
>Jeff's new private plane
>the State's Superdome suite
>the State's Tiger Stadium suite
>the Tulane legislators scholarship(10M/yr)

DOGE should investigate the connection between him and Shane Guidry. Would love to know what’s up between those two. Ole Jeff even has a spot on the board of Harvey Gulf.

Louisiana should and could close down half of its public universities. Not every city needs a college…

Stop wasting money on putting church in schools when it's clear as day unconstitutional

“Tort Reform” is a myth in this state.

Government, by it's very nature, is wasteful. They cannot do anything efficiently. Even if government was filled w/ angels, and not psychopathic megalomaniacs, they still couldn't do it.
Hayek laid it out extremely well w/ his "knowledge problem".
Anyway, they can start w/ the fricking insane licensure laws and regs for companies in that state.

This is so dumb. They’re going to try to cancel some stupid contracts to save a few bucks and then get sued for the contractors expected profits.
Also most of what Louisiana spends as benefits for for the poor comes from the feds, so not much to cut there.

How about we look into how much taxpayer (state and local funds) are spent on Washington Mardi Gras every year. Maybe the follow up can be a comparison of those who paid for hospitality rooms, etc. and the number of contracts those entities received. Would be a fun exercise.

Jeff Landry is like Trump's annoying little brother who does everything his older brother does.

I have noticed that Sharon doesn’t seem to have a “cause” like previous First Lady’s. She just kinda follows Jeff around. Why would she need an office?

Maybe allow the mid barataria diversion go forward so we don't waste the $1B we invested in it.
