UNO’s ‘top 4’ players have not played in weeks and now are under an investigation for illegal gambling activities
UNO only dressed 8 players for Monday night’s game

This all happened because they have to pay Income Tax on their NIL money.
We are forcing kids into lives of crime because we won't pass the NIL income tax exemption. We are turning out our kids into the waiting arms of the Cartels.

Serious question:
Can UNO sports survive this scandal?
They’ve had a couple student votes over the years where the athletic department just barely survived existing.
There is absolutely no support of the athletic program and I really just can’t understand justifying its existence.

That’s not what they voted on… students had the chance to add football twice and didn’t…
But yeah they’re another good coach (like Tim Floyd) away from selling out Lakefront Arena again like they did in the 80s. New Orleans will support a winner and them and Tulane haven’t done that in basketball in years

I think there have been two votes at UNO to remain at the Div. 1 level and both times the students voted against the fee.

Tell ya what, if I was at some small school and we were rent a wins for big programs, I'd have a hard time not rigging it to lose by 30 instead of 20 to make a bunch of money.

They've been down to 8 players since the Feb. 1 game at Southeastern... that's when all this first started coming to light
