This wasn't really talked about on the show, but my brain started thinking about the whole puzzle of earth and aliens and Elon's theory that we are living in a computer simulation..
What if we were put on earth to use our brains and to develop new technologies as a farm for the aliens to develop new technology or just as one big psyop?
"Let's see what these assholes can develop. Maybe we can use something back on our planet, back in our galaxy?"
So they check in from time to time, and maybe they have setup 100s or 1,000s or 1,000,000s of these exact simulations across the universe..
As crazy as it sounds for me to say it, it's not as unbelievable as it once might have been, and if we ever get too sophisticated to travel to Mars or beyond our limits, perhaps they just hit the reset button. There really isn't anything to explain the Egyptian pyramids or numerous other findings on this planet.
At the end of the day, maybe we are all lab rats, and if so, we need more hookers and blow.
eta: I thought this podcast between Joe & Woody was pretty entertaining..

It's puff, puff, pass... not puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, puff, post.

The simulation is that we are the food that feeds. We work as ants for the ruling class to live off our labors. Enriching their cronies and reengenineering us for a one world government. Trump and Elon are waking us up.

So you're wondering if Aliens smart and technologically advanced enough to master intergalactic travel created us to see if we would come up with tech they haven't thought of yet?
'Mkay.
'Mkay.

In your theory, wouldn't the whole galaxy be a simulation?
I've always thought that cities and roads look a lot like our veins and arteries. Is there a building blocks concept in there somewhere?

I'll have what you're having

I don't wanna contemplate being in an alien ant farm, though.

Well, when you word it like that, I'll agree with you that I sound batshit crazy.. but idk, maybe our planet has a resource they haven't seen before..

I get it.. it sounds batshit crazy, and well, it probably is to say it out loud.. but if you really think about it, it's completely possible..
It's possible my wiener will grow arms and play a fiddle like Charlie Daniels for me tomorrow after dinnertime. Doesn't make it reasonable

It's amazing that our society can continually lower the floor on stupidity.

Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage.

Why not just mine the resource themselves? Instead our alien overlords saw fit to give us men who extract resources from the ground, thus giving us the oilfield and Billy Bob Thornton whom will take lead on a television show full of trashy hot blondes?
On second thought, perhaps these aliens aren't half bad.

I may or may not have thought this all the way through.. but you make a good point.
However, if there are millions of planets just like ours, perhaps it is more efficient to have us do the work for them so they can sit and eat bon bons on their spaceship.. or perhaps they have invented time travel and wait for the right discovery and then go back in time to mine it all before we waste it..

So frozen Reese's cups are the point of the whole thing? Interesting.
