The AP has no more right to a seat in the White House Press Corp than the Opelousas Daily World does.

There are thousands of media outlets in the United States and thousands more around the world. They can't all have a "right" to a seat.

It amazes me these people think they have rights over and above everyone else in the nation.

The WH statement is perfect P.R. with a touch of Trump realness. Susie Wiles is great!

Didn't Obama give that fat black lady that took a bath in fruit loops access along with April?

AP got USAID money they be thinking they be special. Also, who died and said they get to call the Presidential election?

The AP is hanging on to a bygone era.

The AP Stylebook was the bible of journalism at one point. I bet your average "reporter" has never even heard of it.

The First Amendment restricts Congress, not the president. There is no "right to access" for press in that amendment.

quote:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The fact that this even had to go in front of a judge is such a waste of time.

The constitution restricts any governing body. From the president, all the way down to a city council. Or lower if said thing exists.

Good. A judge that knows their place
It's not the job of the judiciary to decide who has seats at the White House.

Dear Old Codger,

Can CBS News Gayle King be cancelled for low ratings? Will Oprah allow it?
