I still think this team has an even chance to reach Omaha. But realistically I have not yet seen any Tiger hitters guaranteed to strike fear in the hearts of top line SEC pitching. There is no Dylan Crews or Tommy Tanks on this roster. Sure, they can mature and develop. I still say I’ll take all day long 16-14 in the SEC if you give it to me right now. That says as much about how stacked the SEC is as us, but let’s pump the brakes on the crowing we do the first week of the season after beating up on competition miles below us.
