Jeff Landry is a complete and total arse hat. To appoint that goon (Madison) who had zero experience in wildlife and zero ties to the state was baffling. It should shock no one that she is taking the first Federal position offered to her. Landry was clearly returning a favor to someone and gave zero shites about LDWF or the state when he made the appointment. Can't wait to see who that jackarse appoints next.

Landry is a huge disappointment and suspect he will appoint another 'good ol boy' to head up the LDWF. Louisiana has suffered from decades of abysmal political leadership. Nothing to see here, move along...

Holy shite that’s true

Who the frick is this girls family and what dirty secrets do they have for Landry and now Trump to be giving a 20 something year old these appointments?

I didn’t think it was a great appointment, but what has she failed at?

So far, her actions have all seemed pretty reasonable to me.

But the reason I won’t ever get to be governor is because I would give Boiled Crabs from Tik Tok aka Chedballz on here the job.

Wonder how he got the gig but you can’t blame him for that.

Hopefully it means we see some major changes in CCA’s mission

She sat behind Noem during her confirmation hearing. Hello.

Probably more to do with Kristi Noem than either Trump or Landry.

She was working for Noem in South Dakota. Noem and Jeff Landry are friends, which is probably how she got recommended for the LDWF job. Now she’s going to work for Noem again

Yep. Prior to coming to LA, she was Noem's errand girl out West. Now Noem is head of Homeland Security, and called her favorite pet back to be with her. Hopefully she's effective because it's a pretty important position.

In addition to being Noem’s pet runner, her dad is a mega Trump donor from Ohio.

Her appointment was always a meant for this and should suprise no one. When she was appointed I posted this in the thread on here about it .

“Landry gave her a position as a favor, so that if Trump wins, she will have some sort of experience that will “qualify” her for a federal position within his administration. Another good ole boy appointment for Landry, and such a disappointment because there are some serious issues that need to be addressed in the next year”

And that is exactly how it’s played out

Idk how anyone could question her qualifications, given her work on oysters and pogie boats in South Dakota.

It was always the plan for the RNC to park her somewhere if/until after Trump won and was inaugurated. Landry got told to hire her and now he can get who he wants in there. It's not like she ever did anything anyway except shake hands at DU banquets and read prepped statements.

The hire was clearly a favor as she had no business being in charge of WLF, but I mean she’s leaving to be the deputy director of ICE. Pretty much anyone at the state level would take that if offered. It’s not like she left for a low level job.
