Well we are apparently cutting defense spending and firing high level military. We appear to be pulling out of Nato or at least hastening it's collapse by abandoning Europe while the biggest conflict since WWII is ongoing. An unelected/unconfirmed autistic Billionaire from South Africa seems to be the guy doing much of the work so far in our new administration.

Our defense budget dwarfs any other nation. Without looking I’d bet you could combine the entire world’s defense budget together and it still wouldn’t eclipse ours.
NATO is irrelevant and has been since the collapse of the USSR.
Zelensky is a dictator who is a money laundering mechanism for both sides of the political aisle.
Elon may be autistic but he’s the greatest businessman of our time and that’s not arguable. Love him or hate him.
There’s no one who can compete with the dollar or the us militarily at this point. Until that changes, the dollar will shine. Gold will never be the answer.

Am I the only one who knows how much gold the NY Fed stores? They just move billions of dollars of gold from one cage to another.

How they implement the cuts is what matters. So much waste is spent in the name of "national defense". A quick example is when funds are used for things like building new housing to keep their budget, only to tear the new housing down the next year to pay military families to live off base.

I read an article, years ago, describing how a handful of people can bring down a discussion forum if not weeded out. They are practiced at creating discord without breaking any rules and even seeming as though they are trying to add to the discussion.
It’s all about making it so reasonable people who would normally add to a discussion would decide to not join in on the stupidity. It doesn’t take long to turn an interesting discussion into mud flinging.
