As opposed to the unelected 40-somethings to 60-somethings we already "trust" to comb thru our data?

Isn’t part of the problem that the people (congress) we “elect” to oversee spending of our tax dollars have done an incredibly poor job in terms of disbursement and operational oversight of the disbursements?

This leftist narrative about who views our data is operationally ridiculous and contradictory in terms of current unelected government officials who have the same capabilities as the Doge team.

Good find. The 919 were/are workers in the Compliance Data Warehouse. The CDW primarily functions as a centralized repository for IRS data, providing research analysts with access to various databases and analytic tools. It is not designed as an audit system. So the obvious related question is, why would CDW employees need unmasked data access at all?

Trump would really make their heads explode if he announced that every single member of Congress, federal court judges and Bureaucrats will have a full audit before their primary elections. Each of their audits will be released to the public for their entire time in public office, just as they demanded his be, since by their own mouths they deemed ok.
This will all be done due to the amount of fraud, wasteful spending and financial discrepancies between their salaries and actual wealth. The People deserve to know and if you have nothing to hide, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

And they don’t need to worry because the audits will be done by unelected IRS agents.

Then he should give them one out, vote to dismantle the entire IRS and change to a sales tax and tariff tax only system. Let’s see how many vote aye to that.

Gubment has sent me numerous notifications in the past that they have allowed my data to be compromised.

Why not? Democrats consider anyone making over $160K "rich" in their propaganda. I know that applies to everybody in Congress. Their idiot voters should jump at that. That is exactly why all the IRS agents were hired - to soak the rich.

So what, you think they haven't had this info for years.

You ever missed something on your taxes, well they don't.

We are painfully clean with our taxes. I've nothing to hide, unlike many. Hopefully they start with DC, Maryland and Virginia zip codes.

I'm ok with it. I have nothing to hide.
Do you think Elons team couldn't hack that same information if they chose to???

Holy shite most of you missed the whole point.

Here let me try again:

Dem's heads are exploding over Elon and 5 unelected twenty-somethings having access to IRS data.

Yet Biden granted access to 919 of them, unelected. No exploding heads.

Sheesh.

Didn't you see it on the ballot when we elected the cantankerous Chastity Johnson ID #10003267 that I spoke to the other day regarding an estimated payment being coded to 2023 instead of 2024. Once she was able to access the taxpayer's records she begrudgingly changed to 2024.

She ran a great campaign though.

I'm sorry, when have non- elected people NOT had access to this "sensitive" data? This uproar over DOGE and its people looking at "all your personal info" seems so disingenuous. Unelected bureaucrats have had access for years. Why all the outrage now. Thats a rhetorical question.
