Lakers need more help than Luka

They were something like 13-2 in their 5 games before Luka.

He joins and they're 1-2 against some really bad teams.

Dude is out of shape, can't defend and now can't even score.

He was awful tonight. Had 4 or 5 turnovers in the first quarter.

Luka had the highest +/- of +14 for the lakers last night if that means anything.

AD truly is an important player, but I think Luka will get in shape in offseason and become that 30ppg dominant player again. Dude just came back from injury as well so might even be in good shape for playoffs this year.

I just love the laundry list of excuses for Luka being fat, injured (due to being fat) and coming back and averaging less than the SG Lakers sent to Dallas with AD.

He has to literally come to the Lakers and average +30/8/8 for at least half a decade to justify his value in this trade.

He isn't off to the best start and this is probably why thr Dallas owners were happy to let him go

The MSB Laker bandwagon is missing from this thread

Absolutely, as much of a defensive liability as he is on an already defensively challenged Laker team he's gonna have to be the dynamic performer on the offensive end he always has been.

You arent wrong, but it was only last year when he averaged 34ppg, 9ast, 9reb. And carried his team to the finals. Lets not forget that dominance.

Hornets shot just 36.3% and turned the ball over 19 times but won on the road against the Lakers. The last time a team shot sub-37% and had 19+ turnovers in a road win was Nov. 1, 2014. Road teams had lost 92 straight games and were just 25-743 (.033) all-time.

How a guy with many millions of dollars, who is paid to do a physical activity, could ever become a fat frick like he has is a mystery to me. The guy should have nutritionists designing everything that goes into his body, instead he’s hanging out eating slabs of brisket 4 nights weekly. The warning signs of who he really is are flashing bright.

Lakers may go on and win 10 straight championships with him, but the way over reaction from fans across the country, one would think they could beat the Hornets at Home with 2 hall of fame players, by just showing up.

They headed to the play in game for the playoffs, if last couple games are any indication.

Luka was +13 while he was on the court in 33 minutes last night. Lebron was -4 in 38 minutes. Sounds like a LBJ problem.

it’s going to be awesome
to watch Lebron suck the life out of Luka’s game after trading away the only superstar that ever got better playing next to him.

Just can’t see Luka’s game working with Lebron. Luka is a ball dominant player and that isn’t going to mix well with the current roster.
