ID checks for knives in the UK….and other such insane ideas to deal with knife crime.

It’s become pure comedy at this point in the UK. Even Brits don’t know what to say at this point it has become so literally insane.
THIS folks is the insane left when they are left to their own dystopian devises.

I suppose if there is an actual upside to a post Christian world in places like the UK it’s that they won’t look at Cain killing Abel with a rock or young David killing Goliath with a rock and slingshot. I have to believe that banning rocks and leather goods is going to be a bit more difficult to legislate.

I was in Scotland for a convention about 10 years ago and had to show ID and wait for assistance from a clerk to buy a pair of scissors at an office supply store. It looked like a nanny state even then.

They have already done so here.
In the communist state of New Jersey, they have defined a firearm so broadly, that even a BB gun, paintball marker, airsoft, bow, or slingshot falls into the category of firearm.
Nor can you carry a folding pocket knife for self defense in said state.

They dont want to solve the problem. If curbing violence is the goal, then deporting all muslims would be a vastly more impactful solution.
And even more so, if put on a ballot for it’s citizens to vote, check one:
A) stricter knife control laws and more restriction on knife acquisition (insane to even type that)
B) deport any Muslim that has been convicted of a violent crime immediately
Which do you think the Brits would choose?

A few weeks ago, British actor Idris Elba suggested banning points on knives to solve the “knife violence”.

The majority of violent crimes in the UK are committed by blacks.
They have an immigrant problem that goes beyond Pakistanis and Indians.

And this isn't new, they've been weird about knives for decades. No locking blades, slip joint only, and you still need a justification (like work) to carry one around with you out in public. I freaked a guy out when I used a little Spyderco Dragonfly because it locked. It thought it just had to be under 3" or something, he acted like I'd whipped out a Mac 10.
