Could they not have moved it up at minimum? Plenty of teams playing games right now. Including SLU vs Tulane.

Moving it up takes away much of the financial boon Nicholls is looking to get out of this game.

Jay views this portion of the schedule as a bunch of glorified scrimmages and won't risk player injury to play in elements that won't tell him shite about how his team will play in June.

LSU baseball is a bunch of pussies if they’re the ones responsible for this stupidity

It’s a midweek game vs Nicholls the 2nd week of the season. Let’s not be so hyperbolic.

Doya2 predicts the game will get canceled. The entire rant calls him an idiot because no way the game gets canceled. Game gets canceled. Now OP is saying the game should’ve been played and the rant will call this guy and idiot for saying what they said a few hours ago

But from LSU's view, could playing a second midweek in the very first week be a real factor in this case? I don't know.

Jay is a great coach in most respects but he needs to lose that California softness

So many manly men who will sit at home watching the game on their wide screen tvs in 72 degree weather complaining that this game won’t be played on a wet field in sub freezing weather with a wind chill in the lower 20’s. How many of you were going to make the drive down there and endure the weather? LMAO.

Seems kinda soft considering my daughter has a hs softball game tomorrow at 6 when it will be 29 degrees and windchill of 18 and there’s no way it will get cancelled. Kinda seems 18-21 year old young men could stand the cold.

Almost makes you wonder if the LSU baseball season as a whole has bigger more complex issues to consider than hs softball.

Game was cancelled because of the wet field.

There’s a bit of a difference between girls using a natural motion throwing 50-60mph and a guy using an unnatural motion throwing 90-95mph in weather this cold.
