Why not more Mid Week Games

you only have so many pitchers

You play 42 games on weekends with 14 in the midweek. There are 12 weeks in which to play those midweeks. So we have 2, 2 game midweeks.

We used to have three because we'd skip midweek games in finals week.

The NCAA only allows Division I baseball teams to play up to 56 games before the postseason.

4 games a week is perfect. If only I could actually watch them.
