For OT lifted truck drivers: blinding wave of water when you hit ponded water on road

Wife drives a 1996 Z71 that is lifted. Great truck - very reliable and she drives it to work 5-6 days per week.
To get home, she drives down country roads. The one closest to the house has ponding issues where water accumulates on the road. When she hits the water, it floods over the hood and windshield - a wall of water blasts the windshield. I drove it in a bad rain and it obscures all vision for 3-4 seconds.
Is there something that can be done to divert the water? The wave of water doesn't occur when I drive my Suburban through it.
Thank you.

Slow down going through the puddles?

Make it super squatted
That should solve the issue
That should solve the issue

It's the wider tires on the truck causing the water.

Stop driving lifted trucks.

If you actually had to go down unimproved roads you would own a Subaru or something.

Who weighs more, you or your wife?

3 points for posting pic of wife

My wife is tall and slender. Excess weight is not an issue and never has been an issue.
So, I weigh more.
So, I weigh more.

I wasn't going that fast when I had water blasting the hood and windshield.

this...the wider the tire, the more water being displaced.

Go slower than that then.

I thought lifted trucks were supposed to mitigate shite like this? Is she driving 60mph into a foot of water or something?

Lift the front only for that wheelie effect! Also, the more neon lights shining underneath the truck, the better. Enjoy my friend.

I am going to assume you have wider, all terrain or mud terrain tires on this truck. Those tires are NOT designed for high speed efficient water displacement like "normal" tires. Therefore you have to slow down. It's not hard to figure out.
