What is Kelly's Status?

Now that the high school and portal signing periods are complete, what is Brian Kelly's status heading toward his fourth season in Baton Rouge? He said he left Notre Dame because he did not receive the resources he needed to succeed there, and the fact LSU tripled his salary may have been a factor in his decision. Kelly has received some extra national press attention after his replacement, Marcus Freeman, led the Irish to the national champion game, while LSU was not within shouting distance of a spot in the 12-team playoff field.
To be fair, Kelly left Freeman a program that had been 54-9 over Kelly's last five years, while he inherited a program that looked like Desden, Germany after the Allied air forces had worked it over in 1945. Coach O happily took the buyout and the new babe and headed to the beach.
Just a year ago, Coach Kelly said he was dedicated to rebuilding his team with blue-chip high school recruits, and for a while it looked as if he was succeeding at that approach. But nine recruits, including the top quarterback in the country, decommitted and Kelly lost many head-to-head recruiting battles. Now he is boasting that his No. 1 portal class will be the answer.
Scott Woodward must feel some pressure to support Kelly after his "successful" signing of Jimbo Fisher at A&M didn't work out too well. But a 72% winning percentage will not get it done much longer. If Kelly loses his fourth straight season opener against a Clemson and fails to make the playoffs again, the LSU fanbase will be up in arms. Let's hope Kelly can get it all together the next time around.

It's February... everybody is optimistic. Revisit this topic once the bullets start flying in September.

Ever heard of writing a letting but not sending it? Most people are retarded, its ok, but you can't just haphazardly prove to everyone that "when that guy speaks, he's an absolute retard". You screwed yourself by thinking you're capable of leading social interaction. Stop talking.

You literally have no idea if this is true. ND doesn’t release all of their coaches salaries because they aren’t required to.

The university reported it made payments to Kelly’s limited liability company, but were excluded because they’re not required as part of the IRS Form 990 disclosure.

USAToday reported earned $2.670,213 at Notre Dame in 2021. He is earning more than $9 million a year at LSU. Are all the down votes are an endorsement of another 9-4 season?

Again, that’s the number they have to release because of reporting. They admit that they pay his LLC separately which isn’t required to be reported because they are a private school.
